Welcome UPS 5th Graders! This WebQuest is designed and constructed especially for you. In a few weeks you will begin the major project of developing your personal Webfolio. This project will involve your learning how to use FrontPage software to create Web pages that will be part of your Web site. We will call your Web site a Webfolio because you will be using the Internet (Web) to display the essays, images, poetry, etc. (your portfolio) that you create during the school year.

The purpose of this WebQuest is to help you become a good designer before you sit down to work with FrontPage. The Internet is filled with millions of Web sites. Some of the sites make you want to stay and spend some time. Others make you reach for the mouse to click your way out of there. Why is this so? What makes some sites worth your time and others not? One reason is good design. Well-designed Web sites attract your eyes--not push them away. Well-designed sites also "work" and "function" well. The buttons/hyperlinks are well-organized and they take you where they say they will!

Let's move on to the TASK portion of this WebQuest by clicking The Task here or below or above in the Table of Contents (notice all the ways you have to navigate in this Web site!)
