| Introduction: In
order to determine student competency in meeting the Technology
Standards & Benchmarks for the UPS, a three-tiered
certification program is used. This assessment process
acknowledges that our students are at different skill levels in
using technology that sometimes do not align with grade levels. By the end
of the 5th grade, all UPS students should be certified as
competent in using the technology skills of Level III. All 3rd
graders and new students to grades 4 and 5 come in at the
Uncertified Level (UL). |
