"We are strongly considering coming But I want to hear more from people in my class 1977."

"Portland and San Francisco were incredible times - saw old friends I never thought I would see again, became friends with acquaintances and some folks whom I had never met before, and the equal footing as an ADULT with faculty was beyond belief.

It may sound strange but Lyn and I both live in Houston and we see more of each other at the reunions then we do in Houston.

I am on the fence only because I am not sure if career wise I will be able to make it.

It is a long way to travel and it will cost some dinero, but I believe it will be a time NOT to be missed."

Nancy Greenwood

"This is Nancy Dupuy Greenwood also class of ’77. I’m planning to attend with my family but I haven’t signed up officially yet – mostly because it still seems very far away. However, my daughter is taking Mandarin freshman year in anticipation of an extension in China so the pressure will definitely be on.

My sister Lyn drug me kicking and screaming to the San Francisco reunion and I ended up having a wonderful time, so I encourage anyone on the fence to make the effort. Francis and Tony that means you guys! "

"I am really getting excited now! I confirmed our flight this morning. Mom and I will be coming in on Singapore Air on 6/13 and leaving 6/21. "

"We're hoping to attend, but we're still a little on the fence. Any other members of the Class of 1989 going?"

"HKIS has changed big time and i's really worth comparing the campus, students, and faculty. My father saw HKIS 38 years ago and he never planned for me to to HKIS, but he said it was amazing how much it's changed. Would you agree? Come check it out."

Tamara Scarbrough Mehta

"Getting arrangements together - hope to have my sister Melissa join at some point - she is waiting to find out if it will be possible for her. We were one of the first families at HKIS when we had an apartment building before main campus was built! Looking forward to seeing the Christian family and others.

"I attended HKIS from 1967 to 1969, then my family was transferred back to the US, where I graduated from Terra Linda High in 1971.
The reunion dates overlap with our annual (booked a year in advance, unfortunately) family vacation in Maine, so I cannot attend, but send greetings to those I know from the classes of 1968-1971 and hope you have a great time!. I look forward to attending the next reunion. 45th? 50th?"

"Come on, first graduating class! We are still young enough to travel and should have paid off our student loans by now so tht we can afford to attend! Hope to see more of you there, especially Becky Raborn, Pam Munn, Mindy Gooch, and Jan Blair!"

"
Hey You, the Classes of 1968-69! We started the whole ball rolling: the sports competitions, the yearbooks, the uniforms, the school emblems, the student council, the prom, the ingenious efforts to evade school regs (oops), it all began with us. This is your last chance before senility sets in and all memory of HKIS and your classmates (not to mention your spouse and home address) disappears. Get off that aging butt and relive for one short week one of the most memorable periods of your life. Peter and Michael Swaine, Tay Bosley, David Christian, and maybe several others will be attending. "
