Information for the Travelers: Djibouti is pretty hot for almost the whole year, but the only time it cools off is between November to mid April. The diseases here is AIDS and Bilharzias, which is found in fresh water lakes.

Attractions: The only thing which is worth seeing is the Aquarium Tropical de Djibouti. This is a trip to the bottom of the Red Sea. You can see the Red Sea through the glass walls rather then getting wet.

History: French arrived in 1862. Djibouti was colonized by French in 1949 and gained independence in 1977 after a huge demonstrations.
Culture: Djibouti is made up of Somalis, Afars, Issas, Yemenis and the French. Except for the French restaurants around. The food is bascially made up with flat bread, fish, chicken and fried meat.
