The purpose of this document is to outline how the DragonNet web site will develop and under what conventions it will operate. For more specific information see "Suggestions" document on the Online Publishing Guide.

1. Default Documents

Every subdirectory that contains HTML files should contain a default document. The default documents types are: Default.asp, Default.pl, Default.shtml, Default.htm, Default.html, Index.html

Note: Please try and make your default document: default.htm.

2. File Naming Conventions

Make all directories and files names in lowercase. The DragonNet is not case sensitive.
All HTML files end with the three letter extension *.htm.

3. What you MUST have on your page

Your main page must have a link back to its logical predecessor. For example, if you are maintaining the page on high school interims then your page should have a link back to the High School page since it is directly below it in the directory tree. You should also have a link back to the main DragonNet page: http://dragonnet.hkis.edu.hk/

4. Images

Your images should be no bigger than 30Kb.

5. Content Guidelines

Keep in mind the DragonNet Acceptable Use policy when creating your web page.
