Planning Sheet:
1) What are the most important things you want to tell about the book? (Hint: don’t just give a summary.) Mention setting, main idea, and the main character. Include comments on what the author did well. You might even mention Habits of Mind of the characters that you noticed. Brainstorm here. Later you will write a script that says what each person will say.)
2) Will your "actors" use any props (objects that you point to or hold)? For example, a trumpet would grab interest about the book called Trumpet of the Swan. An object helps grab the viewer’s interested. List the props you need to collect and bring to school.
4) Are you working alone or do you have other people helping you? List all people on your production team (actors, writers, filming crew.)
