| BINGO
- using the characters students have studied... Print out the Bingo Table format and place the characters from the webpage in each box, making sure the same characters are used if more than one child playing. This is a fun group activity! The competitive nature will motivate children to practice their Mandarin. *To make the game more challenging for older children, write the English word, instead of the Chinese Character in each box, and have children write the Chinese equivalent in 10-15 seconds.

| Tic Tac Toe - again
using characters students have studied... Draw up a basic 3 by 3 tic tac toe table and place the characters from the webpage in each box. There are many alternatives: 1 - using a couple characters and slowly increasing the number of characters 2 - having kids say the meaning only 3 - having kids say the meaning and also the Chinese pronunciation 4 - writing the English and having kids write the Chinese equivalent to get the square (kids should also be able to say the character in Chinese!)
